Vulnerable customers

According to 2022 research from the FCA, almost half of the UK’s population is vulnerable to potential harm with overrepresentation in certain groups, such as women and people on lower incomes.

That’s why it’s so important you tell us if your clients possess any characteristics of vulnerability.

Disclosing a vulnerability to potential harm won’t have any impact on the kinds of products we’re able to offer them. And the more we know about a client’s circumstances, the better we can tailor our service.

Whether they’re going through a huge life change, they’re not so good with numbers, or they have an illness or physical attribute that could impact how they interact with us, we’d like to know.
