Zero-hours contracts

Zero-hours contracts can be considered where the customer has 12 months’ continuous employment within a similar role and industry, and where continued employment can be verified.

Packaging guidance:

We require:

  • Latest 2 months’ payslips or invoices (calculation: take an average of the last 2 months' - this will be sense checked against the year to date figures)
  • 12 months evidence of employment in same or similar role (evidenced through the below)

Examples of acceptable documents to verify 12 months continued employment:

  • Latest P60, or
  • Period 12/52 payslip from previous financial year, or
  • Latest tax calculation, or
  • Previous contracts, or
  • 12 months' bank statements demonstrating income
